So it was my birthday.*YAY!!*

Hello loves! I promised I would blog on my birthday like I normally do but I had such a long day with alot of love that I just finally got around to it. Coupled with my laptop issues!!! *sigh* it was a lil tough! But where there is a will, there is a way! Here is my picture filled post of my birthday weekend!

I turned 25 on Sunday December 2nd and this would definitely go down as a birthday to remember. I didn’t do much or have a huge party or anything but the past few months leading up to this birthday were very trying. Full of ups but plenty downs. I found myself re strategizing my life, making changes, rehashing plans and generally trying to make the best out of my 24th year. And no matter how apprehensive I felt the weeks leading up to my birthday, I was sooooooo happy on my birthday. I was reminded if the little things. I danced WELL at church which luckily was thanksgiving service! The numerous calls, tweets, Facebook messages, instagram wishes, texts, prayers, and just so much love. I had a sleepover with my close girlfriends in my current city and we just ate and drank and laughed till almost 4am. At 10 minutes to my birthday we turned the music up and danced to some good naija music and popped a bottle. I was happy. I am happy. I am thankful. Very thankful. And although I am not where I think I should be, I am happy for where I am and where I am going. I am emotional. I am growing. I am so happy. I am here and thank you guys for the constant support. Here are some pictures from my sleepover!!! And church the next day!

  1. The chicken tornadoes look lovely. Is there a recipe please?

    • I normally just buy them pre-made and I cook them according to the directions on the thing and rub them down with my homemade bbq sauce. Its just chicken breast wrapped in bacon tho.

Ooo Suya Sliders…sounds delish. What did you do, just add suya spice to the ground meat? any other tips on that one?
