Chef life | 20/20
Hello lovers! Welcome to yet another Monday! Firstly! If you had me on your blogroll before, you might want to re-add my URL. When I changed the blog up, it went dormant on some peoples blogs! So make the change and subscribe —-> I cannot believe the rate at which the year is moving How is it already the 18th! The good thing is it means by God’s grace I am closer to achieving all my dreams. I cannot wait to be done school and move on to the next step in my life! My weekends are really not mine these days. I spend so much time working behind the scenes for my company/blog that by the time Sunday evenings roll around, I am so shocked at how I have actually not relaxed! I am however getting a hang of everything and thanks to apps like Evernote, Awesome notes and good ol Reminder on my iPhone, I am more organized and learning to put CHILL time into my schedule! Please if you live in Toronto, I am looking for friends..:(
All weekend I listened to Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 experience and maybe because I am such an old school RnB head, I am in love with the album and cannot wait to buy it on tomorrow!. It reminded me of why I love JT in the first place. I am not a music critic so I do not know how to write a review on music so you can probably check Taynements website in a few days for a proper critic. I love it a lot and that is all I have to say about that!
While listening to music, my weekend consisted of a whole lot of cooking as per usual. It is always so much fun trying to come up with a menu when I get requests to cook for someone. I always have to try and gauge how far out of their comfort zone they are willing to go and just how adventurous the clients are. My menu this week was not that adventurous but it was a lot of fun and luckily I was done early enough to take pictures for my blog! This is not always the case! If you follow me on instagram, You have probably already seen these pictures, but for the rest of yall stuck in BB world. Here you go! It was a three course meal for a friend visiting his gf in Toronto. Yum times.
If you want the recipe for any of the meals, drop a comment and I’ll put it up sometime this week. I do not have step by step pictures though! So you would have to do with just the description.
The recipe in this Sunday’s Punch is Fried Yam with a shrimp sauce. Let me know if you want the recipe and I’ll post it! The Easter menu I promised is still loading outchea! Give me a few days!
If you live in Toronto and you want to have a private chef come to your home and make restaurant quality meals, send me an email and we can discuss. I also have a menu page where you can order anything for delivery for your events or just for your weekly meals. Thanks!
Have an amazing week ahead!
Till next time.
