Plan with me | Week 21

I was watching a Youtube channel a few weeks ago unfortunately I cannot remember for the life of me which one it was and I loved the way she used her Happy Planner and I decided to switch to a similar layout like hers. I didn’t want to blog about the change till I was sure it was something that worked for me as well. I have been using this layout for a few weeks now and I am totally loving it. I used to journal a long long time ago but lately I have not been able to find the time to do that consistently and this new way of me planning my week also allows me to write short memories about the day for future use. I love it and have been waiting patiently to share.  Here it is and I hope it inspires someone to start planning their day.


I begin my day now by writing down two to three things I am grateful for. It can be from the past day or for my life in general.  It is such a good way to start the day by being grateful and thankful to God for small and large things daily. Sometimes we get so busy with life that we forget to stop and smell the roses.  The next thing I do is my “FIRST 5” app bible study. I like to take key words and the scripture reading of the day and write it down for future use. sometimes I go through my planner and remember a Word that I received from a few weeks before.

The next section is for my daily to do list. I write down everything I am supposed to accomplish that day. I add to this section as needed.  This section ranges from appointments to reminders and even my grocery and workout schedules.

In the third section, I normally write whatever I have planned for the blog that week and for my social media pages. I try to make recipes in advance. I have another notebook where I develop recipes and brainstorm other ideas for my blog as well. I also plan our weekly meals and it makes me weeknights so much easier. I try to make the meals vary a little bit and try not to have the same thing during the week. This way I know in advance what we are doing and only buy the fresh groceries we need for that week.

This new layout has been amazing and I am loving it so far. I am journaling my time with God. I am planning for my family and my blog in the same space and being way more productive. Its also kept me accountable about being productive. I hope it inspires you too!

  1. I’d like a comprehensive planner too, that would encompass the major aspects of my life.
